Slide to Pair
Swipe in any direction and every tile slides as far as it can go. Two matching buddies that collide merge into one tile with twice the value — their combined buddy shows up at a higher rank. Keep pairing to climb the ladder of characters. The game ends when the board fills and no move is possible. See which buddy you can reach.
Three Special Tiles
Rare wildcards appear on the board and bend the rules for one interaction. The Square tile (ײ) squares any buddy it slides into — a humble 8 instantly becomes a 64. The Halve tile (÷2) cuts a buddy's value in half, the perfect antidote to an overstacked board. Slide a Square and a Halve into each other and they cancel — both gone, no score. The Wildcard is a shimmering tile that doubles any buddy it merges with. All three can be toggled in Settings.
Straights
When four tiles in a row or column form a strict doubling run — like 2, 4, 8, 16 or 64, 32, 16, 8 — they collapse into a single tile worth four times the largest value on any swipe, even one that moves nothing else. A Straight is always a valid move and each one earns you a milestone if the result crosses a new threshold. In Sprint mode, each Straight collapse refunds 2 moves.
Blocker Tiles
Rare immovable obstacle tiles that sit in their cell for twelve moves, splitting any row or column they occupy into two independent slide lanes. A Blocker never merges or moves — you work around it. Its border flashes orange when three moves remain; at zero it crumbles away in a particle burst. At most two Blockers exist on the board at once. Toggle them off in Settings if you prefer an unobstructed board.
Sprint Mode
A fixed-length challenge: the game ends after exactly 100 moves. A counter above the board tracks what's left, switching to orange when 20 moves remain. Each Straight collapse refunds 2 moves, so chasing Straights actively extends your run. Sprint scores rank separately from unlimited games so the two leaderboards don't mix.
Variable Board Sizes
From a tight 3×3 for a quick game to a sprawling 8×8 marathon. Board size is set in Settings and persists between sessions. All game logic — sliding, merging, Straights, Blockers, game-over detection — works identically at every size.
Bonus Tile System
After each successful move there's a small chance the spawned tile is a bonus — a higher-value character marked with a gold border — giving you a head start toward the next merge. No bonus can exceed the current board maximum. Toggle bonus tiles off in Settings for pure two-value spawns.
Milestone Moments
Reach a tile value for the first time in a game and the board celebrates: the new buddy zooms to center screen and bursts into a shower of color. Each new milestone is celebrated once per game and refunds one undo charge. The higher the milestone, the bigger the party.
Undo
Up to three undo charges per game, shown as dots next to the undo button. Each charge reverses one full move — board, score, and merge state. Charges are spent as you use them and refilled by one (up to the cap) each time you hit a new milestone tile. Use them freely; play well to earn them back.
High Score History
Every completed game is recorded with score, highest buddy reached, board size, mode settings, and date — plus a full snapshot of the final board and per-game stats (moves, merges, Straights collapsed, best single-move score, duration). Records are grouped so each configuration ranks only against itself. Tap any record to replay its final board state.
