Our Approach
Typewritten Code builds purposeful software, and we believe good software respects you. We designed our apps and this website to work without knowing who you are. We do not require accounts, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not want personally identifiable information. The less we hold, the safer your data is.
Information We Don't Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or any other information that identifies you personally — unless you choose to email us directly. Our apps do not ask you to sign in or create an account to use their core features.
Your Content Stays With You
Content you create in our apps — tasks, game history, settings, and the like — is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit it to our servers, and we cannot read it. If you use Apple services such as iCloud, that content is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Anonymous Analytics
To understand how our apps and site are used and to fix problems, we may collect aggregated, anonymous usage and diagnostic data — for example, which screens are opened or whether a crash occurred. This information cannot reasonably be used to identify you, is never linked to your identity, and is used solely to improve our products.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of reputable infrastructure and analytics providers to deliver and measure our services. These providers process only the limited, anonymized data described above on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to anyone, ever.
Cookies & Tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. Any storage used is strictly functional. We do not follow you around the web, and we honor browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals where applicable.
Children's Privacy
Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because we don't collect personally identifiable information in the first place, this is the norm rather than the exception.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Since we don't hold personally identifiable information about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase — but if you have a question, we're happy to help.
